New mid-rises run $1,600-$2,300 for one-bedrooms and $2,200-$3,200 for two-bedrooms. Renovated vintage buildings and small complexes on the side streets offer the value end at $1,200-$1,600. Prices are typically $300-$500 below Uptown for comparable new construction.
Largely yes. The Dallas Streetcar runs from Bishop Arts across the Trinity to Union Station and Downtown for free, most daily needs are walkable, and Kessler Park and Lake Cliff Park are close by. For groceries, the nearest full-size stores are on Davis Street and in nearby West Dallas.
